Is a speedometer a legal requirement on a motorcycle?
According to the GOV.uk website, you do not need a motorcycle speedo to pass your motorbike’s MOT. The link above refers to all the elements on motorcycles that are checked during an MOT. This can include the conditions of:

- Steering and suspension
- Wheels and tyres
- Frame
- Brakes
- Seats
- Horn
- Throttle
- Wheel alignment
