If the light remains flashing while driving, there's likely a problem with your alternator belt - which is responsible for charging your battery while on the move. This shouldn't be overlooked - a faulty charging system could leave you stranded, so ensure to have this checked over by a professional as soon as possible.

What does the battery warning symbol look like?

The dashboard warning symbol will be a small battery icon with a plus and a negative sign to symbolise a battery. In most cars, the light will turn red to signify the issue.
